Ron Arad: Walls, no thanks!

In a search to symbolically contradict the existence of separating walls and bunkers throughout the borders of his country, Israeli Ron Arad’s architectural office has created a series of hierarchically placed winding slabs that embrace Holon’s Museum of Design, luring the visitor into the metallic structure in a somewhat futuristic experience. The building is conceived as a sculpture thus acquiring an inventive and poetical character inherent to the concept of design.

Uno Design es una nueva marca comercial nacida en 2007 como apuesta de la empresa valenciana Celda para desarrollar mobiliario contemporáneo. En concreto, para diseñar una amplia tipología de piezas, que se distinguen «por la búsqueda de una relación emocional con los usuarios».

Uno Design: Signature style

Uno Design is a new 2007 brand name from Valencia-based Celda to develop contemporary furniture. Specifically, to design a wide range of pieces distinguished “by the quest for an emotional relationship with users”. To help, they have the collaboration of designers such as Javier Mariscal, Fernando Salas, Ximo Roca, Lagranja, or El Último Grito.
