Sober and made of materials such as bent and lacquered metal, it also has a base of natural oak wood. This lamp is not what you see at first sight. La Discrète, as its name indicates, invites us to appreciate what we glimpse after the immediacy of its presence and also to discover its ability to evaluate situations and stories of its usual lives.
It is a desk lamp which defines a lighting space. In it you can highlight treasured items: a picture, an object, a letter…all these kind of tiny things which talk about our life memories and experiences. This lamp from Fabien Dumas has the ability to blend into the background as a wall-mounted shelf. Thus La Discrète becomes a light frame that lights up its contents.
